MARSOC questions for a Marine S/O?

my boyfriend is starting the "pre-deployment MARSOC work-up" in about a month. I was just wondering if there are any other S/O's who have been through this? and what I should expect? like longer working hours? working nights? working weekends? honestly, any information at all will work. please no military bashers or anything like that, I am just curious as to how these next couple of months will unfold. thanks in advance!
