Was she like interested or just being sanguine?

Sounds to me that she just likes to flirt because she likes the attention and now you are coming on too strong for her to handle. She is probably just confused about what to make of you and is worried that you are coming on too serious. You would probably get better responses from a dating category rather than Mythology and Folklore but I still felt you question warranted at least one answer.
