How to catch but not kill a...?

wild/feral pig? i caught one a while back and its making a fairly good pet. i think it should have a friend to keep it occupied and i wanted to know how to catch another pig to be its friend. my current pig walked right up to me and i took it in. how do i catch another without killing or hurting it?
